The rationale is that for people rarely writing mdoc stuff, it's
easier to remember to begin a new sentence on a new line than to
remember to put two spaces after a dot if it's supposed to end a
sentence, and only one if it's an abbreviation.

There are quite a number of those, and it's not more work for people
who do more work on man pages.
