It probably could, assuming that neither cats or shark plan to adjust the
start of the kernel (the ldscript has it hardcoded to 0xf0000020.)  I'm
not planning to on cats.

Ideally I should eventually get cats kernels booted as ELF, not a.out, but
it's not that high on my list of things to do.
