I can't see any reasons to not print it. Why do you want to have SCSI2
handled differently ?
Also note that recent devices are not scsi2:
sd0 at scsibus0 target 0 lun 0: <IBM, DPSS-336950N, S96H> SCSI3 0/direct fixed
