Given that the same overrun check (1.2) was also pulled up into
netbsd-1-4 as part of the same bugfix, these fixes should probably also
be pulled up into netbsd-1-4.

Unfortunately, I'm not a developer, so I can't "officially" request a
pullup.  But since you're handling releng for both -1-4 and -1-5, I'd
hope this could be put in as a synchronized fix...
