It was also pointed out that a good subsection of scsi 1 devices don't handle
this correctly either. They skip states and otherwise cause bus resets at
times. (I have some ancient drives in some vaxes that behave this way when
probed for tag capability, but ultrix boots on them just fine since it doesn't
do this).
