A note to that effect might be a good idea (such as `includes all
devices from $FreeBSD$'.)  Usually just bringing in imprivements isn't
enough to warrant the tag apart, so confusion might result otherwise (`I
brought over a later version than that said it was from, so why did some
devices disappear...').

OTOH, a note in the commit log (`added a.) b.) c.) d.), from FreeBSD
/path/to/file <version>').  Dunno...
