- add NOT_FOR_PLATFORM *-*-mips*  along with a note on where work is needed for
  full support.

-add partial mips support, but still get:
  process.s:177: Warning: MIPS PIC call to register other than $25
  process.s:177: Warning: No .cprestore pseudo-op used in PIC code
