I like Meta more because the wskbd mapping code sticks to
X11 conventions otherwise too.

But I didn't write the mapping code, and I'm not familiar with
the real meaning of all the X11 constants, so it would be good
to consult Juergen and/or someone who knows X11 how far it makes
sense to follow X11 here.
