Your "out of the box" perl installation puts a symlink to the proper path of
the Perl interpreter in /usr/bin/perl.  However, as someone else pointed
out, this should be ${PREFIX}/bin/perl, resolved at install time.  (Fixing
it at /usr/pkg/bin/perl is just as broken as fixing it at
/usr/local/bin/perl.)
