The PCI ahc driver uses the SEEPROM (umm, didn't you write that code? 
:-), which is the SMC 93cx6... The files I deleted were some unused 
(currently amiga-specific) ARCnet stuff ... (SMC 90cx6).

So, I didn't break the PCI ahc driver :-)
