admittedly i was late.  apparently so was roland.  christos and
jonathan shows up shortly thereafter.

otoh, it was also customary to post something to the list.  no one's
been doing that of late, so i think none of us have any real reason to
complain since there's an established communications channel for
developing drinking habits.
