The entire blackout thing did nothing but to convince me that humanity is
utterly screwed.  I should've walked up to DBAs.

OTOH, the flashlight my dad bought me worked like a champ.  I've gotta put
together a little emergency kit.  This is the second "disaster" in the past
2 years...
