Is there some sort of issue with Hankaku Katakana in our iconv? I
can work with it ok in UTF-8, but if I try to save it in vim with
fileencoding=Shift_JIS, I can't. In fact, from a UTF-8 file containing
half-width katakana:

    dev1 $ iconv -f utf-8 -t shift_jis z
    iconv: iconv(): Illegal byte sequence

This is PR lib/28325.

As well, there's also this. Is this just me going crazy or is there a
problem here?

    dev1 $ iconv -f utf-8 -t euc-jp z
    iconv: iconv(): Invalid argument
    dev1 $ iconv -l | grep -i euc-jp
    euc-jp
    euc-jp-ms
    dev1 $ iconv -f utf-8 -t euc-jp-ms z
    iconv: iconv(): Invalid argument
    dev1 $

This is all NetBSD-2.0_BETA/i386 as of late September. It would be darn
nice to have tese problems fixed for the 2.0 release.
