I'm now running the bleeding edge of Xen from git as of today on one of my less critical servers. Currently it's using the moniker 4.20-rc, so I'm guessing they're getting ready for a new release soon. The dom0 and domU systems are all still identical to what I was running with 4.18 from pkgsrc, i.e. a rather out-of-date -current in dom0, the same again in a domU, plus a netbsd-10 and a daily -current from August, as well as a FreeBSD-14. I had test booted the kernel some weeks ago and it brought up dom0 OK, but of course it wouldn't work with the old tools, so I've had to build and install them as well. It was a bit of a bear to build and I still can't get some parts to build (firmware, qemu, tests), and a good number of minor changes are needed to make it build and work on NetBSD, and the check-endbr issue remains, but it seems to be working OK for the little I've done with it so far. Now to wait 7+ days to see what happens to the clocks..... In the mean time I'm going to try to see if I can get any traction with pushing the various NetBSD and such fixes back upstream. -- Greg A.
