In looking at my NetBSD 6.0 Dom0, which does not have X11
installed, I do see that pixman is listed as one of the
requirements. (I see the same thing on a 7.x box without X11.)

My suggestion would be to install the comp.tgz set, and build
xentools46 from source, which _should_ pull in pixman from the
pkgsrc modular X11 tree.

fyi: I build from source 99.5% of the time.
