I started looking at this when it first came up, but had gotten busy and didn't get back to it.
The ec->ec_capabilities for the interface needs to have ETHERCAP_JUMBO_MTU set, which xen does not do. I was looking at where to set it and was going to test it, but haven't had time to try it out yet.
