It should not be interfering with xl, but could you kill it and try
again?

Killed same result...

Killed and restarted, same result!

I'm downloading a new kernel from current! <-- I meant *daily* :)
Tried some daily "netbsd-XEN3_DOM0" but from the size it looks to me its
the same exact file, in any case always the same result!

Have you had time to made any tests?
I've tested on a system running 6.99.14 and it works (xl + lvm). I don't
know what's wrong, could you paste the result of lvm lvdisplay?

That's current, I'm on 6.0 but now that you pointed out lvdisplay I found the problem (thanks to you)

----> LV Status              NOT available

So I manually run
lvm vgchange -a y

I was sure I hadlvm=YES on /etc/rc.conf, but I acctually had "LVM" instead!

So, xl works on netbsd 6.0 Xen 4.2 compiled from source, as long as your not has dumb has me and forget to set lvm=yes (properly) on rc.conf or manually run "lvm vgchange -a y"

Sorry for taking you're time Roger, and thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Feel free to virtually slap me! :S

Btw I found a similar? problem with xm that is fixed now, could this be
related somehow?
