Re: dhclient on netbsd-XENU

OK, solved, I was trying to get an IP with a wrong interface. But I have another question: I can ping any IP on the network from domU, but any "machine", including dom0, ping domU.

What's wrong? Thank you.

Hi,

I have an ADSL modem with internal DHCP server. Whatever machine I connect to the hub (which, by the way, is where the modem is connected), I can get an IP address.

What I'm trying to do is to get a IP for a running netbsd-XENU domain. I added

dhclient=YES

to /etc/rc.conf and NetBSD tries to get an IP, but no success at all. I tried to put

dhcp = "dhcp"

in the configuration file of the domU too, but also without success.

Am I missing something? Any tricks?

Thank you.
