Thank you, now all is working perfectly!

I just wanted to change the default MAC address provided in the howto 
and of course I picked the only nibble that could cause problems... I 
really didn't know the rules behind MAC addresses.

I agree that xentools should to sanity checks and complain about wrong 
addresses, this would indeed help people who generate them randomly.
