I've tried both branches without any success... pings are still 
receiving dups, and TCP connection remain in SYN_SENT using:

NetBSD 3.0_STABLE (XEN0) #2: Thu Apr  6 12:13:56 CEST 2006
NetBSD 3.0_STABLE (XENU) #2: Thu Apr  6 12:18:22 CEST 2006
