Please don't top-post on our mailing lists.  It makes conversations
extremely frustrating.

Do you have /dev/random and /dev/urandom in the xenu's filesystem, with
correct major and minor numbers, ownership, and permissions?  If so, then
OpenSSL is broken somehow -- I think that's the last possibility.
