I've seen a page on PS repair.

	http://www.ml.ie.niigata-u.ac.jp/~h_ooya/powerunit.html

This page is only in Japanese, too.
Here is a brief summary for your information.

The author repaired the power supply by changing following components
in the PS unit:

	1. all the chemical capacitors,
	2. the photocouplers (SHARP PC817 x2), and
	3. the solid-state relay (SHARP S12MD1V).

Do it at your own risk. Good Luck.
