VS3100M76 - current

I'll start a new thread since the previous one gets a little bit
complicated.

I've burned a CDROM and tried to install. It takes a very long time
to load the kernel from the CDROM...

In sysinst I've choosed to use the existing partition sizes, after that,
sysinst crashed in similar fashion as before:

We now have your BSD-disklabel partitions as:
This is your last chance to change them.

uid 0, pid 6, command sysinst, on /: file system full

dev mnt sysinst.core sysinstmsgs.pl var

(I've typed 'ls' to show the core)

an stty sane repairs the terminal

The next sysinst isn't working as expected, isn't it?

NetBSD/vax 6.99.42

This menu-driven tool is designed to help you install NetBSD to a hard
disk,
or upgrade an existing NetBSD system, with a minimum of work.
In the following menus type the reference letter (a, b, c, ...) to select
an
item, or type CTRL+N/CTRL+P to select the next/previous item.
The arrow keys and Page-up/Page-down may also work.
Activate the current selection from the menu by typing the enter key.

Hmm..... :-|

maybe later...

# gunzip /targetroot/*.gz
# ls /targetroot
boot netbsd-GENERIC usr

.. ok here I'm removed the log accidentally..

copied boot, the generic kernel and currently untarring the sets..

Hopefully I can newfs the var partition later...

Its seems that the problems are still here, but different programs will
crash differently...

newfs and sysinst are still dumping cores.

I'm no going to drink a beer, I'll report more after untarring the sets and
reboot...

Regards,

Holm
