Hi,

I finally have NetBSD 4 on one of my VAXen. It seems to be running fine
(in this instance, "fine" means that it's not panicing), except for some
programs which won't work, such as top and ps if I use the -u option. I
can't compile anything - even a tiny little test As expected, they're
dumping core because of illegal instructions.

Does anyone know why gcc is generating code that has illegal instructions?

Thanks,
John Klos
