Sure - but there's nothing that says a SCSI-level transfer has to
correspond to no more than one network packet; there's no reason a
network-over-SCSI setup couldn't be made to transfer a whole wack of
network packets in a single SCSI transfer.

Isn't that what bus arbitration is all about?  Or am I just exposing my
ignorance of SCSI?
