Besides, with the advent of emulators such as simh, these machines will
never really die, of course.  Just look at all the C64 stuff that
circulates on the web, mostly disk images for emulators.  And there's
even a new C64-style machine developed by hobbyists, the C=One, kindof
like a supercharged C64 on an ATX format board which can use IDE hdds
and PS/2 mice/keyboards (http://c64upgra.de/c-one/).  And old VAXen are
surely far from useless.
