Hello,

Subject pretty much says it all - i have plastic H-bracket that can
accomodate 2 half-height 3.5" HDs in front of me with RZ25 (half height)
in top bay. I don't have metal plate for bottom bay so i thought i
should remove RZ25, unscrew the plate, have somebody make a copy of it
and use it and the copy to put that drive and another drive in. However
i can't seem to be able to get that stupid metal plate out.

I've checked the manual (for installation of HDs, avaliable on manx). I
am confident i understand how to put a drive in but apparently the
precedure to take a drive out isn't simply reversal of the former. I'm
holding that plastic thing (that would normally block drive from sliding
out of the bay) down so my both hands ache like hell, yet the drive
refuses to move even a tiny bit. The only remaining option i can think
of is sledgehammer, but that might cause damage to the bearings inside
disk motor so i'll use it only as pre-last resort (last one is obviously
hurling everything out through the 6th floor window and getting me two
custom made L-shape pieces of metal with holes in that that i will screw
to the bottom of the box and which will hold both drive in place).

Why oh why was it so hard for them to use simply side holes throug which
drive would be munnted ? Uhh ... And to think i was actually excited
about how easy BA46 enlosure is to dismantle ... not.

Any help will be greatly appreciated !!!
