The 11/750 ones were not that bad,

I don't have access to. The 780 situation
(for me) is precisely the reverse.

How do the 780 ones compare (in volume)?
I expect that there *might* be a little
more (since I think the 780 was slightly
less "integrated" and certainly had more
boards involved.

If you were on the correct side of the
water I'd offer to scan them for you.
Surely there must be some public-spirited
soul left on your side with access to
an 11"x17" scanner with a sheet feeder?
