Hehehe. Yes. The Man In Black taking a VAX apart. 
I am thinking of making a portable QBus VAX with that left over BA23
backplane from the "Rothalbener Seuchen VAX".... 
But that water cooled CDC supercomputer and the baby Cray at the VCFe
where nicer....

But I found the pic after I loged in...
My machine looks very similar. The only difference is the break out box
with all that connectors. My machine has at that point only a SCSI
connector. The two HD connectors for the async lines (?) are on the
left. 

BTW: That VAX table is nice. :-)

And I suspect that the VAX 4000-1xx and the MV3100 are that same base
board but with different options...
