I have two microvax IIs, one in a BA23 rack case, the other in a BA123
pedestal. I had NetBSD 1.4 running on the BA123 a while ago, but was
living in a loft at the time, and the noise + heat made it prohibitive
to run for long periods of time. I recently purchased a house, so now I
have a large basement to put my vaxen in -- I just need to redo some of
the electrics first. :) maybe one day I'll have one of the VAX-11
line... if it had reliable disk, I would move my services to it. :)

there is no 100% rational reason for me keeping vaxen, really. the more
I learn about these machines, the more I appreciate the engineering that
went into them. they really are neat.
