I have the following VAXen:

* VS 4000/60 - Used exclusively (for now) for compiling. Nice fast 12VUP
beastie.
* VAX 4000/200 - Will be used (once I've sorted all the HDs out) for file
sharing. It's got 2 working (and one non-working) SCSI controllers and will
end up with tons of SCSI disks, as soon as I've gone through all my drives and
figured out which to pack into the enclosures. All 5.25" full-height stuff,
too. I dim the lights for blocks when I fire it up... May end up as my
web/mail/etc server when SWB gets off it's dead ass and gets DSL to my
neighborhood.
* VS 3100m38 x8 - As soon as I get my power situation taken care of (replace
fuse box w/ ciruit breakers, add big 120/30amp outlet for these guys), I'm
going to set them up as a Beowulf/PVM/Whatever cluster of some kind. Just for
experimenting. At 3.8VUP x 8, it should make a decent compiler, if I can rig
it to multiprocess...
* VAX 6420 - Actually not yet in my possesion, still two states away and
uncertain whether I've got the space for it. Who knows what I'll use it for,
once support has been finished.
* UVAX 3600 - in a BA123. Sitting in a corner unused at the moment. Also has a
SCSI controller, but it's a brain-dead one that will only handle drives of
512MB and lower. Has GPX boardset and REALLY HEAVY 20" monitor, but currently
not installed. I may end up pulling the SCSI controller, and putting it into
my 4200 - host the OS on the smaller drives, and save the bigger ones for file
sharing.
* DECserver 300 - terminal server. 16 ports of MMJ. Now I just need 16 MMJ
Cables (about 8' long, if anyone has some extra). It'll be hooked into the
consoles of all of the above machines whenever I break down and buy a crimper,
or when some kind soul sends me a bunch of MMJ cables.

I used to own a UVAX 3800, but I gave that to a friend who's running his
domain on it (Apache, Sendmail, etc.). It's doing a kick-ass job.
