I am about to get my first big vax MVII/GPX in a week. I got a list of
what's in it and I was wondering if any of you could tell me a little
about it.. It's got:
M7620-AA, M7621-AH, M7621-AP, M7546, M3106, M7516-YM, M7555, M7169, 2X
M7168.
I know the 7169 & 8's are the GPX, the 7621's are 8mb ram each, the 7555
is the MFM controller... I was wondering how good/fast a cpu is the
7620-AA, if anyone knew abou the 3106 (4 line serial mux?), and what
exactly the "turbo" is supposed to be on the 7516-YM (qbus to ethernet
turbo module MVII)..
I also was wondering if anyone knows where I can get and how much more
memory I can put in this, and if there is anyone out there with a spare
front panel for one of these (BA123-A? enclosure).
One last thing - is there some nice person on the list that could perhaps
make me a current netbsd install tape on a TK50? Please?? :-)
Anyone know where I might be able to obtain a couple TK50's?
