ok, so i almost made it.  problem is the /400 is laying in the hall between
the computer room and the bedroom, so long cable, hooked into the serial port
of my sun, and powered on:

damn, nothing on the disk to boot from.  woulda been cool if it had VMS on it
or something, just to tool around with anyway for five minutes before i went
to bed.  getting everything setup (finding the AUI->UTP tranceiver so i can
get my AUI MAU online is gonna be fun) is going to take longer than i care to
stay awake.  just thought i'd pop this on the list quick before i shut my eyes
one last time.
