I took at look at http://world.std.com/~mbg/pdp11-field-guide.txt to be sure
and yes, the M3104 is a

M3104 DHV11-A Q 8-line Asynchronous Multiplexor, with DMA
M3104 Refs: EK-DHV11-TM, EK-DHV11-MC, MP-01783, ZJ362-RZ
M3104 Refs: uNOTE N#041

as I suspected. It has been years since I last set such jumpers - I recall
one or two dip switches on the board are used to select the CSR address. I
expect this info must live on the web somewhere with enough folks needing to
know it (not from DEC of course, but from hobby folks like us).

Hopefully some kind soul will pipe up with a URL or pointer to past mailing
list mail on this topic.

I could always either look at a board I have or dig out the manual...

Cheers,
