I'd say you're probably correct, saying DEC might do that. In the
VS3100m38 there's a cable that looks exactly as you describe, exept that
it also has one 50-pin connector. In the m38, the SCSI-buses have their
termination on the SCSI/SCSI-board.

The 100-pin connectors seems to be some kind of special connector. My
best guess if you want one, is that you announce your interest on the
mailinglist. There's probably someone out there with a scrapped m38 that
is willing to part with a cable. With the correct cabling, you can
probably connect 7 disks on each SCSI-bus. (id 0-5 plus id 7, the
controller on id 6)
