Actually, I've given the VS3100/M30 here quite a pounding with the 1.4.1
miniroot.fs we're planning to release.  I've been using it to install the
sets from a sysinst floppy image to a SCSI Zip drive.  There could be some
issues with VS3100/M30 ROM versions. The bootable floppy I used in my
M30's MFM RX23 drive was created using a SCSI 1.44 drive in my M38.  I've
not tried creating one in a PC drive or Sparc drive (big-endian).

The show ver command on my VS3100/M30 reports:
