Ladies, Gentlemen,

I recently aquired a MicroVAX 3100 and a MicroVAX II. I have been able (with
help from a Linux/i386 and a NetBSD/i386 box) to netboot the MV3100. I had the
usual trouble with "where did the console go?" until I found a reference to the
third serial port. That worked, at least with the miniroot present.

I made a (modified) copy of the export directory on my netboot-server (NetBSD/i386)
and modified several server configuration files, to netboot the MVII. But the Console
prompt ">>>" has not all the features the MV3100 has.

Can anyone tell me what I can enter on this prompt?

Also, the MVII has a DELQA network adapter (QBUS). This adapter works with VMS5.1 (the
OS present on the machine.

Can I netboot with this adapter?. I have the /etc/ether, /etc/bootparamd, /etc/hosts
and /etc/exports, as well as the /tftpboot/mop/nnnnnnnn.SYS linked to boot. There is
also a miniroot present as /exports/<client>/root etcetera.

Greetings,
Alex van Denzel

"Uncle Cosmo ... why do they call this a word processor?"
"It's simple, Skyler ... you've seen what food processors do to food,
right?"
