C, 6 and 4 are normal. I have the same warnings, the box runs. "A_" -> then
underscore says, that this device was not found and is simply not installed
(same in my box). I don't know exactly, what 7 is... Just type "test 50" to see
a "named" list of the devices.

Very old kernel. Get a new one on http://www.camaronet.de/download

After getting the new kernel, you should get the current binary snapshots. If
you already have those, and are running them with this old kernel, the crash
could be absolutely normal. Around December, there was changed very much, i
also had probs with the old distribution and the 990101 kernel.

32 * 1024 * 1024 = 33554432 (= 32 MB)
                 - 33288192
                 ----------
                     266240 (= 260 KB)

32 MB of RAM in the machine, 260 KB reserved for stuff like interrupt vectors
and so i think. 4 MB for the kernel including buffers and so. Do you think it's
too much ? Look at Windoze-kernels, then you know, what's much !

so long... Michael
