I just booted my box to look for something. Nice things happening: the
3100 detects smg0 and wsdisplay0 (ok, it's present, but no monitor
connected at the moment), and the same kernel, booted on the 4000 VLC,
does not detect smg0, as seen on the 4000/60 with this kernel (also ok,
'coz not present on 4000 series). So the detection works correctly. What
the hell is this 990320-kernel compiled from ? My version is compiled
from the 990320-sources and so should be identical.
Filedate "smg.c" -> 990314.

Sumbody taken the wrong binaries ?
