Does anyone have any idea why NetBSD can't find the SCSI disks
on my VS3100 m76. I-ve tried booting off floppy (Yes, it will boot
off the RX33-image on a RX23 drive) using the rom()netbsd line.
It will boot, but i can't access the harddisk at all.
Well, i thought, the rom option perhaps only gives access to the booted
drive, so i resorted to netbooting the VAX from my PC. I tried the new
bootloader from Ragge, and it works, the new 1.3I kernel also works
but (gritting my teeth) i still can't find my harddrive.
So i thought i'll go back to the older kernel, swapping the kernel
and the bootloader for the older versions, Well then it won't boot
at all. All i get is the SCB2NDINT -message as described by Chris Hedley
earlier this year.
Has anyone any suggestions? I don-t really like to use the VAX with both
root and swap over the network since it gets _VERY_ slow.
I don't think there is any faulty hardware since i had no problem running
VMS on it.
