According to what Mr. Sokolov has said, there is a way to bet the
VS3100/M76 to boot from the hard disks. I have such a unit with two rz24's
as id's 0&1 as well as other disks tied to scsi host #1. Here's the
disklabel:

# /dev/rsd0c:
type: SCSI
disk: rz24
label: start-me-up
flags:
bytes/sector: 512
sectors/track: 38
tracks/cylinder: 8
sectors/cylinder: 304
cylinders: 1348
total sectors: 409792
rpm: 3600
interleave: 1
trackskew: 0
cylinderskew: 0
headswitch: 0 # milliseconds
track-to-track seek: 0	# milliseconds
drivedata: 0

5 partitions:
# size offset fstype [fsize bsize cpg]
  a: 69920 0 4.2BSD 1024 8192 16 # (Cyl. 0 - 229)
  b: 68096 69920 swap # (Cyl. 230 - 453)
  c: 409792 0 unused 0 0 # (Cyl. 0 - 1347)
  d: 409792 0 boot # (Cyl. 0 - 1347)
  e: 271776 138016 4.2BSD 1024 8192 16 # (Cyl. 454 - 1347)

What must I correct to get this working? Which copy of BOOT would I need
to use? Which kernel must I use? ( iave have at least seven versions from
1.2G to the latest from Multivac)
