By some unknown reason your machine goes to cpu_reboot() where it reboots
as expected. Why this happens I do not know, but it happens very early in
the boot process. You said that the same thing happen when you boot from
disk; what configuration is in your machine? My 3900 has:

KA655 CPU.
32MB memory.
DELQA Ethernet.
KDA50 disk controller.
RA82 + RA90 disk.

If you boot with B/42, does it still just reboot or does it jump into the
debugger?
