Well, I've only been able to test 1.3E (23 May 1998) on a VAXstation
3100/M38 thus far, but it looks good. The timeouts are gone, and "tetris"
no longer intermittently pauses on me during critical moments of game
play. The same goes for "nethack". I always hated it when things paused
in the middle of a game of nethack and I ended up monster fodder because
of it. I give the new kernel two thumbs up wrt the ethernet improvements
as witnessed on the VS3100/38.

Also worth noting, the 1.3E kernel dropped right in place on my 1.3A
January install. It didn't seem to break anything (like ps or w) at least
not anything that I've found yet.
