Only KA42 has the mass storage controllers on a daughterboard. On KA41, there
are two SCSI controllers on the system board and there is no way to have an MFM
controller. However, DEC has once made a board that can sit between the SCSI
bus and the FDD, and some companies make special FDDs with these things built
in (i.e., that attach directly to the SCSI bus).
