There exists a (buggy) driver for the NCR5380 which was "ported" from
the sun3 driver. This driver has some problems related to the DMA system
but seems to work in PIO mode. IMO all these problems are not related
to the rest of the kernel but only to this SCSI driver. Fixing/rewriting
this driver (with proper DMA support) should solve most of the problems
with SCSI support on 3100.
