Hmm.. Something strange is going on on my 3600...

When I boot it all is fine. 'ps' works fine, 'w' works.

After a while (and I haven't fond the trigger yet) I can still
work on it OK, but stuff like 'ps' outputs some info and
then goes to never-never land.. 'w' does output the load
and some user-info, but also never returns after that.

Like this:

NetBSD:ttyp0:arno $ ps -ax
  PID TT STAT TIME COMMAND
    0 ?? DLs 0:00.03 (swapper)

<wait until eternity>

A ^C will stop it (phew!), but not on the console..

Why did it suddenly develop this problem while it has been running
fine for weeks on end getting big compile jobs thrown at it???

Oh BTW.. I have mounted the procfs and it still seems to work
fine:

NetBSD:ttyp0:arno $ ls -als /proc

I think I'll re-build and re-install my userland to see if some
library or binary got mangled somewhere..

Any suggestions welcome..

						Bye Arno.
