After a good bit of system tweaking, I've got NetBSD net-booting a VS3100
using Bertram's kernel image.  He even squeezed in some extra time to get
the link level address fixes compiled into a new image:

It's quite a beautiful sight to see Unix running on this machine in the
form of a fully functional diskless workstation. I'm now a very content
individual. :-)
