Apologies for the long delay, unemployment has given me the opportunity
to get some time to play with the vax port again.  I've finally been able
to confirm that the tweaks to uda.c for dumb MSCP/SCSI boards like the
SQ706 I have work great.  I've used it for some time and haven't seen
a single hiccup.  Thanks!  An Emulex UC07 seems to work right out of
the box unlike the Dilog board (as judged via a 4.3reno box).
