I cannot see any reference to the mouse at boot up, but then again I am not sure
what I am looking for.
The kernel would appear to recognise the keyboard (kbd).

Is there an easy way to check if the mouse has been found?

Can I do anything to force the kernel to identify the mouse?

thanks
