Long ago & far away, I worked for Dual Systems, the first company to
produce a commercial UNIX on a 68000 (yes, they winged it without an MMU;
story for another time). One of the items in a standard system install was
a monthy cron job to E-mail a reminder to "root" to clean the system fans.

Perhaps NetBSD/sun3{,x} should include a similar script.
